6 Min. LCCJ

6 minutes completed w/ 2 16kg bells, in about 90 degree weather.

Heavier bells should be coming soon, this should help me push my numbers higher. One thing I realized is snatching is going to be limited to skill priactice only. With the high humidity, even with lots of chalk and extra attention to proper technique, the handle will still pull.

Built a pull up bar i'll get some pics up soon.

We still don't have internet service, so I'm limited to when we make the drive to Plano to my mother-in-laws house to make short choppy blog posts. Hopefully this week we'll get hooked up and back on track.

Welcome to Texas, where you can only snatch about 8 months a year. It starts to get tolerable in mid October. Oh well, at least you don't have to shovel heat and humidity.

I´m having better results jerking the 32 than little weights. With the lighter weights I have a hard time finding my iliac crease. The 32 finds it on its own--it just sinks right in there. I haven´t tried two 32´s yet because the only way I can clean two 32´s is with windex and a paper towel.

Charley, people were asking if I knew how hot it got in TX. My reply was "I'd rather be too hot than too cold.

Ron, I agree regarding the heavier bells, it's easier to hollow and get your elbows to the hips and then drive the arms up with the legs.

BJ,

After further thought, there are multuple seasons down here. Dove, football, deer, fall/winter/spring, recruiting, spring football, and summer, and then training camp.

Hope you're enjoying your heavier bells.
